What we collect

When you create an account, Align Worlds stores your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and profile picture Google shares with us. We do not receive your password when you use Google.

If you subscribe to our research emails, we store your email address, the signup time, and a record of the subscription wording you agreed to. To limit automated signups, we also keep counters linked to a keyed hash of your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address in those counters. When processing signups, we remove counters whose time window began more than two days ago.

We measure how the site is used with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. These record page views and performance without cookies and without identifying you personally.

What we use it for

Your account details are used to sign you in, keep your session, and contact you about your account, for example to confirm your email address or send a sign-in link. If you subscribe to research emails, we use your address to send new research.

Who processes it

• Supabase stores account data, newsletter subscriptions and signup counters, and handles authentication.
• Vercel hosts the site and provides analytics.
• Google provides sign-in when you choose it, and delivers our email.

We do not sell your data.

Your choices

You can ask us to stop research emails, remove your address from the mailing list, or delete your account and the data tied to it at any time by emailing hello@alignworlds.com.
